ISO 14001:2015 certification
ISO 14001 certifies the environmental management system, not the product. For a recycling plant it is the certificate that regulators and downstream auditors actually look at, because it covers how the site manages waste, effluent, emissions and legal compliance.
Certificate details
Certificate JES-20-018, issued by EQA IMS under the Environmental Quality Act integrated management scheme, valid from 2026-02-18 to 2029-02-17.
Scope: plastic trading, recycling and manufacturing of plastic materials at Lot 8945, Jalan Telok Gong, Pelabuhan Klang.
What it does and does not prove
It proves that an environmental management system is in place, audited and maintained. It does not prove that any specific batch of material meets a recycled-content threshold, and it is not a substitute for GRS or a transaction certificate.
What it does do is reduce counterparty risk: a plant with a maintained EMS is less likely to lose its operating licence mid-contract.
How to verify
The certificate is issued by EQA IMS and can be verified by quoting certificate number JES-20-018. A scanned copy is available on request.
